REMOTE VIDEO INSPECTION

The Premier Video Image Scope allows you to look inside equipment and machinery without taking it apart, saving you time and money.  It provides its own illumination and can be used for remote inspection of the most hidden components.

Video Scope Applications

Power Generation

Process
Turbine Boiler Tubes
Boilers Condensers, Compressors
Steam Generators Cooling Equipment
Deaerators Filter Equipment
Burners, Chimneys, Flues Heat Exchangers
Gas Turbines Cooling Jackets
Turbo Chargers Pumps, Pipes, Valves
Pumps and Seals Backflow Preventers
Intercoolers Tube Bundles

Light Source

Flexible Videoscope and light source allow for remote inspection of normally inaccessible locations.  Four way articulation of interchangeable tips provide 360 degree field of view.  Illumination of the inspection area is furnished by a short arc xenon lamp whose 300 watt brilliant white light is carried through the light guide bundles to the viewing tip.  Adjustability of the light source provides brighter, higher resolution images without edge or fading hot spots.  Videoscopes resemble fiberscopes in appearance and operation.  However, instead of a fiber optic image bundle in the probe, Videoscopes have a miniature "TV camera" (Charge Couple Device, CCD) in the distal tip.  This image sensor sends back electrical pulses that are processed by the CCU into true-color video images that can be shared by several viewers.  Videoscope images are brighter and sharper than fiber scope images and can be transmitted over greater distances through longer probes without image degradation.

VIDEO MONITOR

wpe5.jpg (6703 bytes)A high resolution color monitor receives the video image from the camera. The resolution allows for accurate assessment and interpretation of the inspection area.  With complete digital capabilities, our system can generate a permanent record on video tape or computer disk.  These images can be stored or e-mailed as the need arises.
